Do’s and Don’t’s
- Always inspect your bands carefully EACH
TIME BEFORE USE for any tears
or damage. Bands
will wear out and/or break over time.
Never use a band that is worn out or damaged.
Wear eye protection.
- Keep your bands clean. Periodically
wash them with a little water and some mild
dishwashing soap, such as Palmolive.
- Do not expose your bands to any oil-based products, such as baby oil, suntan lotion, etc. Like any latex, oil will substantially harm the material.
- Keep them out of direct sunlight exposure.
- Avoid exposure to extreme heat, such as enclosed car or garage above 110 degrees or below freezing. Always store your bands in a moderate temperature environment.
- To avoid cutting, keep your bands away from any sharp, rusted or other unsafe objects in the gym or where you workout.
- Always avoid pinching your bands between weights or clamps when lifting.
- Don’t double-loop the bands. If
you need more resistance, use another
set of bands with higher weight resistance.
- If you connect them together for some reason, loop them. Do not knot them together.
- Un-loop them after each use to minimize wear at the connection points.
- Don't use them for activites for which they
are not intended.
- Keep them away from children. They
are not a toy, and can cause serious injury.
Iron Woody gives a one year warranty on
the bands provided you give your bands proper care
and use them as intended. Use the bands with
common sense. (disclaimer)
