Push-up & Pull-up Bands

This section is dedicated to Iron Woody™ pull up and push up bands.  These assisted pull up and push up bands allow people to do these bodyweight exercises with assistance from the bands.  Push ups and pull ups are great bodyweight exercises that strengthen your upper body, back, chest, and arms.  Many people need to work up to these exercises before they can use their full body weight to train, which is why we created Iron Woody™ assisted pull up and push up bands.  These bands are constructed the same way as all Iron Woody™ bands using 100% latex sheets bonded together and cut to different widths.  That means you can expect the same tried and true performance as you can with all our bands. These bands are offered in sets so as you get stronger, you can use the smaller bands which offer less assistance and resistance.

Iron Woody Assisted Pull Up and Push Up Bands

For an assisted pull up, attach the band to the pull up bar by slip knotting it over the bar, and synch the band all the way up.  You can then either loop the band around your foot or your knee.  The great thing about using a band like this for an assisted pull up, is as you are pulling yourself up, there is less resistance from the band which allows your back muscles to work more and become stronger.  For assisted push ups, use the same set up and attach the band to the pull up bar by slip knotting it over the bar, and synch the band all the way up.  Then, take the other end and loop it around your torso and begin your assisted push ups under the bar.
