While we make the inventory transition, you may receive either the natural bands with colored coding, or the new solid colored bands. Both bands are of equal quality and strength. The only difference is the color.

The 41-inch Iron Woody Bands

Woody Bands™ are offered in seven different pound resistances.  They vary in thickness and width, which determines their pound resistance.  (The greater the stretching distance of the band while exercising, the greater the resistance load of the band.)  All bands are 41 inches long, seamless latex rubber constructed in layers to help prevent breakage, and come with a 1-year warranty. 

Please note: With the exception of all the Pull-up Packages, which are sold as single bands, all other Woody Bands™ are sold in pairs only.

New 12-inch & 20-inch Woody Bands

Iron Woody's new 12-inch and 20-inch bands were developed for a need for high performance resistance loop bands. Although there are many "fit loop bands" out there, there was not one that was specifically developed for both the athletic and rehabilitation purposes.

The two different lengths come in five separate levels of resistance. This allows for both a progression in rehabilitation plus athletic endeavors. These bands can also be used for powerlifting applications, including lockouts, deadlifts and other short stroke training techniques. In addition they can be connected to a regular 41-inch band in the case of taller individuals needing a longer loop.

Because all bands are 1/8" thick and made out of 100% pure latex rubber, their durability, strength and memory is far superior to any existing fit-loop band in the industry. They are a little more expensive than others, but you'll have a higher-performance band that you won't have to replace every few workouts. In the long run, these bands will save you money. Please note: they are sold in pairs only.

Band Assisted Pull-up Packages

Recently we have received numerous inquiries about which bands to order for assisted pull-ups.  There are simply too many personal variables to recommend just one band.  As your pull-up strength increase, your need for band assistance decreases.  So as a general rule of thumb, we suggest customers purchase one of our Assisted Pull-Up Packages for use with Crossfit Training, or typical assisted pull-ups.  From experience we have found one of them usually fits the present and future needs of most pull-up training, depending upon one's current fitness level. Pull-up packages contain one of each band, not pairs of bands.

Always inspect your bands EACH TIME BEFORE USE for any tears, wear or damage. Fitness Bands (like any rubber band, large or small) will eventually wear out and/or break over time. Don't use a damaged band, don't over-stress them, and don't use them for something that they are not intended for (like launching water ballons, bungee jumping, towing vehicles,etc.) Wear eye protection.
